The membership of the PAAAC is opened to National Agribusiness Apex Bodies from all African countries. Representatives of member national chapters are entitled to serve on the Steering Committee of the PAAAC per the requirements expressed on the roles of engagement of the Steering Committee. Upon consultation with relevant stakeholders, a membership fee or levy shall be imposed on members to support the activities of the PAAAC Secretariat. The relationship between the PAAAC and the national chapters shall include but not limited to the following;
- PAAAC shall represent the collective interest of members in policy dialogue and advocacy at the continental level
- PAAAC shall support the strengthening of national chapters through capacity building and other related services
- The PAAAC shall coordinate the meetings of members at the SC and other events
- PAAAC shall develop a comprehensive database of member chapters and subsequently host this database on a web-based platform
- PAAAC shall collate and disseminate various agribusiness related information, information on the AfCFTA and other opportunities to member chapters
